My Story

What did you do before joining OGL?

Went to university in Swansea to study business and marketing. I then had various roles before joining OGL at the tender age of 23.

Tell us a bit about your role

I manage the Customer Success Team, which involves working with all of our Customer Success Managers, and regularly speaking with and visiting customers; all to help both our Profit4 and prof.ITplus customers maximise use of our software within their businesses.

What are you most proud of in your job?

Making a difference! I really get a buzz out of helping customers utilise our software to benefit their business either through helping sell more or improving processes. I also love coaching and mentoring our team - seeing confidence grow and sharing my experience is very satisfying.

What do you like about working at OGL?

Getting to know people. I take pride in understanding customers' businesses and how they use our software, but also understanding the people I am visiting is just as important to me.

What's the best career advice you have been given?

More of a Richard Branson quote; “If someone offers you an amazing opportunity and you're not sure you can do it, say yes - then learn how to do it later“.

What do you get up to at the weekend?

Watching football, usually Kidderminster Harriers or Arsenal. I also play in a local Snooker league. My wife and I generally like watching and playing sport so this is what we spend most of our time doing until little one arrives.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

An actor! You wouldn't believe it given that I'm not usually the loudest person in the room, but I always wanted to be a film star growing up.
