I joined OGL as an apprentice straight from school at 16 and have been here ever since, so OGL and prof.ITplus / Profit4 is all I know! I did have a paper round when I was 13 but apart from that OGL was my first job.
I applied for an apprenticeship at OGL at 16 as I wanted to get started with work, rather than continue for another 2 years in the education system. I had 2 interviews at the office (which I was wearing my prom suit as it was the only suit that I owned). Charlie Grant interviewed me and I was very nervous but luckily it all went well!
I am the main contact for a selection of our prof.ITplus and Profit4 customers, and am available for any questions they may have. We have regular catchups together so I can keep our customers up to date with recent changes to the software and OGL, and to also ensure that they are getting the most out of the software. I also speak with our existing prof.ITplus customers and discuss transitioning to our new software, Profit4.
It always makes me proud when I hear how much our software has helped a business, whether it is saving them time or making them more profitable. The main aim of ERP software is to make sure a business is as efficient as possible, so it is fantastic when Profit4 / prof.ITplus can help take a business to the next level.
It is always easier to work as a team, so I always ask for help if I need it and always offer help where I can too.
The people, both working at OGL and our customers too.
Don't get disheartened at making mistakes as long as I learn from them, then they will benefit me in the long run.
Going to watch the Wolves, going to the pub or relaxing at home.
I always wanted to be an Airline Pilot, but a Customer Success Manager was second on the list!
