TBS Cladding
Traditional Brick and Stone (TBS) was founded in 2003 and has an extensive product portfolio of facing bricks, cast stone and clay pavers. The founders identified a gap in the market for brick slips and launched their sister company, TBS Cladding Solutions, in 2018 to address this niche.
TBS has been an OGL Software customer for over 15 years. They started using prof.ITplus in 2017 and most recently migrated TBS Cladding Solutions to OGL’s newest ERP system, Profit4, in 2022.

TBS Cladding Solutions liked the functionality that prof.ITplus provided as well as the relationship they had built with OGL Software but needed a future-proofed solution which would help them to achieve their long-term goals for growth.
One of the key challenges TBS faced with prof.ITplus was its lack of integration with their WooCommerce web platform. Profit4 delivers greater functionality that customers have reported is important to their business moving forward but that they currently struggle with in prof.ITplus, such as integrated online shopping channels. Manual order entry from the web was time-consuming for TBS and hindered efficiency and growth. Transitioning to Profit4 brought a critical solution through its WooCommerce integration, automating order processing, reducing response times, and improving overall efficiency.
TBS had a positive experience transitioning from prof.ITplus to Profit4. Profit4 has significantly improved TBS Cladding Solution's growth, allowing them to process 20% more orders and achieve a 25% increase in turnover since going live. The WooCommerce integration has played a pivotal role in streamlining order processing. With automated order
entry, TBS Cladding Solutions can respond faster to customer requests, reduce manual work, and provide better customer service. The commercial director said, “Minimising the time it takes to process web orders has allowed us to spend more time with our customers, so our levels of customer service have definitely improved since transitioning to Profit4.”
Due to their impressive growth, TBS Cladding Solutions are in the process of building their second production unit, with plans to build a third if growth continues at the current rate, to increase production and service even more customers.
Migrating from prof.ITplus to Profit4 has been essential to the growth of TBS Cladding Solutions business. With OGL's support, TBS Cladding Solutions overcame the challenges of an ageing system and has positioned itself for continued growth and success in their competitive industry. Having witnessed the improvements that Profit4 has brought to TBS Cladding Solutions, their long-term plan is to migrate their entire group to Profit4 over the next few years.
