During the COVID-19pandemic NeoTimber experienced significant growth which has been maintained year on year. As a result, their previous system, Sage 50, was no longer able to keep up with their needs.
After careful consideration and evaluation of various options in the market, NeoTimber decided to implement OGL’s Profit4 to help them become more efficient, eliminate manual processes, and support their future growth.
Joe Allen, Sales and Operations Director, explained: “During theCOVID-19 pandemic, our business experienced a significant increase in turnover, staff, and product sales. We began to encounter difficulties with our previous software platform, Sage 50, which was unable to keep up with the increased volume of orders. The biggest issue was the discrepancy between buying products and being able to sell those on back order. Therefore, we made the decision to invest in new software that can support our current and future business growth.”

By usingProfit4, NeoTimber has experienced big time savings across the business including in accounts, sales, and their warehouse. The system's comprehensive features allow for seamless integration and communication between different teams, leading to increased productivity and streamlined operations, allowing the team to serve their customers effectively.
One of their key requirements was to have their website integrated with their software. Sage 50 was unable to provide this functionality, leaving their staff with a significant amount of manual work.
Profit4 has successfully integrated NeoTimber's website, allowing all online orders to flowthrough the system. This integration has not only saved their staff valuable time, but it has also improved the overall efficiency of their order management process.

With the nature of NeoTimber’s business they see spikes in the summer months and need to plan for this throughout the year.
Operations Director, Joe Allen comments: “For me personally, I use Profit4 for merchandising. I look at the data and monitor what sells, what we need to buy and when. As we get busier in the summer months, it’s important that we prepare in advance. We have to heavy stock load in the summer to make sure we meet demand and keep our customers happy. Profit4 has been instrumental in helping us manage our stock efficiently.”
