Latest additions to leadership team support company ambitions while recognising achievements of women in technology

OGL Group is proud to announce two new promotions to its leadership team, Rachel Seagrove, Head of IT Delivery and Claire Jones, Head of Software Sales. These promotions form part of a company-wide senior-level recruitment drive, resulting from the business' strong performance, and its strategy to deliver an ambitious five-year growth plan.

"Both Rachel and Claire have worked for OGL for many years and these promotions are very well deserved. They have always shown a true dedication to delivering a first-class service to our customers and have continually embraced new opportunities to develop their careers. The tech sector can sometimes appear to be a male dominated industry but at OGL we have always adopted an inclusive culture to provide opportunities for career progression for all our staff and I think that supportive and open environment is why we have such as naturally diverse workforce of talented people. I recruited both Rachel and Claire, and right from the start I could see they both had huge potential, and they have not let me down, so I am so proud of what they achieved, and I look forward to working even more closely with them as part of the leadership team", commented Debbie Barton, Chief Operating Officer.

Currently, OGL's female employees make up just over a quarter (27%) of its total workforce, compared to the UK national average of under a fifth (19%). At OGL, over a third (37%) of senior management is female.

Claire and Rachel will be supported by the Executive Team to help navigate their new roles. In turn, they will mentor their own teams to achieve their career aspirations and share their experience to build the knowledge and expertise in their respective areas.

In her new position as Head of IT Delivery, Rachel, who has been working at OGL for 9 years, will be responsible for introducing operational efficiencies into the IT Solutions division and improving transparency and collaboration across the business.

Rachel said: "OGL is a people and customer focused company, and this role is an ideal opportunity for me to start putting into action all the great ideas generated by our division to support our customers. Being empowered to make positive changes to benefit the business and our customers is what attracted me most to the position."

Joining Rachel will be Claire Jones, Head of Software Sales. Claire, who celebrated her 20-year Long Service earlier this year, will be working closely with the OGL Software Sales teams, Account Managers and newly-appointed Head of Profit4 Operations, Charlie Grant.

Her role includes working closely with the marketing and account management teams to ensure OGL's product placement is strong among target audiences. She will also work with the development, delivery and support teams to ensure the seamless roll-out of the software and excellent customer experience.

About her new post, Claire said: "Following the launch of our fantastic new software product, Profit4, at the start of the year, I will be focused on ensuring we have the structure, tools and people to capitalise on every opportunity to grow and build on an already amazing 2021."

Gary Reynolds, OGL's Operations Director, concluded: "OGL's strength comes from our staff who are passionate about what they do and are committed to providing the best customer experience, and Rachel and Claire are prime examples. Rachel's near-decade of experience at OGL in various senior client-services roles makes her the ideal candidate for Head of IT Delivery.

"While Claire has excellent knowledge of the Software division having worked within it for 20 years; her role evolving from administration, software account management and now to Head of Software Sales."

Rachel will be based in OGL's Kidderminster office and Claire will be based at OGL's Stourport site, however they will both benefit from the company's Hybrid Working Charter which gives employees greater flexibility and the option to work from home a couple of days a week.
