OGL staff raise money for Cutnall Green Cricket Club in memory of popular colleague.
Staff here at OGL are participating in monthly dress down days to raise funds for charities and causes close to our hearts. May's dress down day was held in support of Cutnall Green Cricket Club, and we raised a fantastic 276.
The cricket club was suggested by our Programming Support Consultant, Matthew Austins. Matthew said:
I nominated Cutnall Green Cricket Club in honour of our colleague, Bruce Watson, who sadly passed away last May. A collection for the cricket club was started on Bruce's behalf last year, so it seemed fitting to nominate it for this month. To steal someone else's words at the time: Bruce had many happy memories (at Cutnall Green), and they were very close and supportive to him over the years - especially when Bruce's first wife died.
