This week our Technical Team is settling into brand spanking new offices, following their move at the weekend. The team has grown rapidly over the last few years and their previous office at our Kidderminster site was bursting at the seams. The new offices at our Stourport office are spacious, light, modern and full of mod cons.
The Technical Team encompasses our Service Desk which handles all IT support requests from our 1,200 customers. Other members of the Technical Team carry out pro-active maintenance for our customers, monitor servers, check updates, install equipment, implement new solutions, manage our cloud data centre and look after all manner of other technical requirements for our customers. They're a busy team, that's for sure!
The investment into brand new facilities for our Technical Team is part of a wider programme to upgrade all of the OGL buildings, at both our Kidderminster and Stourport sites. Marketing, HR, Finance and Research & Development have already been moved to upgraded offices. Plans are in place to bring all other departments up to the same grade by 2018.
