A huge congratulations to Lewis Liggins who is celebrating his 10-year Long Service milestone today.
We caught up with Lewis to find out more about his time at OGL: "I joined OGL as an apprentice having previously done work experience when I was at Worcester College. Initially I worked in Technical (OGL IT Solutions) and then in 2022 I was asked to join the, now, Customer Success Team in OGL Software and work with Profit4; an opportunity I just couldn't say no to!
“Getting the Customer Success Manager role has definitely been my biggest achievement and despite my initial lack of knowledge of the software and some of the industries that our customers are in, I am proud to have secured some great sales. My previous role in Technical meant being out on site quite a lot and I have a lot of fond memories of that time, however often you would be working independently so now having a role where I get to work with some great people is something I look forward to every day.”
Lewis' manager, Matt Meredith had this to say: "Lewis, when you joined OGL Software from IT solutions you were the go-to for many situations within IT solutions, so moving to a new role and new industry was a bold move. This shows your ambition, and how you want to move forward in your career. From the moment you came over to Software for a taster day, the decision was easy; you immediately fitted in with the team and got to work on learning what OGL Software had to offer.
"From a standing start, you are making the CSM role your own. You are driven, quick witted, and your relaxed style makes customers feel like they are in good hands.
"For those who don’t know, Lewis enjoys being in front of customers, and clearly has a talent for it. This does mean a lot of time on the road, one morning Lewis phoned me to say the road outside his hotel was flooded, and there was no other way out. After the rain slowed, and a dicey drive through the flood Lewis made his meetings, albeit a little soaked through.
