A huge congratulations to Jamie Wilsonwho recently celebrated 5 years at OGL Software.
A huge congratulations to Jamie Wilson who reached his 5 year Long Service milestone this week.
We caught up with Jamie to find out more about his time at OGL so far…
"I started working at OGL as a member of the maintenance team and my first job here was to build the canteen in the Stourport office. I then moved into the prof.ITplus 1st Line Support team where I worked all the way up until lockdown.
"During this period, I was asked to re-join the maintenance team to help with putting in place all the Covid dividers to ensure a safe work environment for everyone. Once this was done, I was asked to join Profit4 support with Alex Rose who showed me the system and since then I have progressed to the 2nd Line Bridge Analyst team.
"My favourite aspect of the job is the people I work with. After working in many industries with many people, I can honestly say that I have never been happier to come to work and spend time with the lovely people at OGL.
"My biggest achievement would be the knowledge I have built during my time at OGL. As I had never worked in this type of industry before, being able to help others and customers was something I was very worried about, however with the training and support from everyone at OGL I have managed to achieve this goal on a daily basis.
"My funniest memory of working at OGL would be the time we played our customer Andersons at football (2-1 to OGL on aggregate). It was a great time and I look forward to the next game!"
Jamie's manager, Mikayla Price added:
"A huge congratulations to Jamie for reaching his 5-year Long Service milestone with OGL. What an amazing journey Jamie has been on in his career at OGL so far.
"Jamie was originally working at OGL in the maintenance team and always recalls the conversation he had with Sharon about wanting a change in direction in his career but wasn't sure how to get there. Sharon provided Jamie an opportunity within prof.ITplus Support and Jamie started in the 1st Line Team shortly after.
"Eventually Profit4 started to grow, and Jamie moved over to Profit4 Support where his knowledge and skillset has gone from strength to strength. Jamie's determination and willingness to learn has allowed him to progress to our Profit4 2nd Line team, dealing with complex issues behind the scenes and liaising with Development on fixing issues for our Profit4 customers. Jamie has come so far from when he first started his career within Support, and I cannot be prouder to have seen him grow and develop over the years. Jamie is a perfect example of how you can achieve anything you put your mind to.
"Thank you so much for all your dedication to our Profit4 customers and your colleagues. You are always happy to share your knowledge to help other members of the support team and are always happy to take on a challenge."
Carl Hillier commented:
"Congratulations Jamie on reaching your 5-year work anniversary! Thank you for always being positive and customer focused. You play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
"Jamie has always, and continues to, consistently demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent service and going above and beyond for our customers. This is an important trait to have in a support role, as customers often reach out when they are confused or experiencing issues. By showing empathy and a willingness to help, Jamie has made a positive impact on many customers' experiences.
"It's also worth noting that five years is a significant milestone in any business, and it's a testament to Jamie's dedication and hard work that he has reached this point. Thank you for all that you do Jamie, you and your efforts are appreciated. Congratulations again."
